We have all arrived in Haiti and we are trying to get settled in! I feel like I'm creating more of a mess than I am cleaning up my house, but it will get better!!!
Yesterday, Megan, Alexa, and I started painting the inside of our house. The blue kitchen hadn't been painted in at least 10 years (April Sumner could probably tell us what year she chose that blue paint!), and it was in DESPERATE need of face-lift! We finished that last night (with some help from Benny and Gepson--Thanks!) and hope to move on to the upstairs today. At least the upstairs is already white so one coat should do it this time!
Hopefully we can get this done soon so that we can all get busy working in our classrooms! So much to do and the little ones will be coming soon!
